Support Baby Phillips Fundraiser & Silent Auction – 3/31/2012

The Hippie Limo - Denver & Boulder's Premier Retro-Mod Vintage RideJason and Bryttney Phillips are expecting their second child at the beginning of April. It has been difficult for them to conceive and go to term with their pregnancies so they were ecstatic to finally have another chance to have a baby! Their baby boy will be here soon! However, they have recently received some heart breaking news.

The baby has been diagnosed with Shone’s Syndrome which is is a form of heart disease that has two main features. First, there are multiple problems with the left side of the heart, which receives blood from the lungs and pumps it to the body. The valves and passageways are often too small or blocked. Second, the abnormal areas on the left side get worse over time. To help correct the problem the baby will undergo several open heart surgeries as well as be in the NICU for a long period of time.

Bryttney works for Take a Break Childcare, an award-winning Lafayette business that my son attends for 12 hours a week to allow me to have time to work on the Hippie Limo business (and sometimes just to work on the Hippie Limo itself) as well as search for a part-time position as an Instructional Designer. We have been nothing but pleased and amazed with the quality of care my son has received there, not to mention the genuine dedication and lovingness of the staff.

That is why the Hippie Limo is donating a Magical Mystery Tour to the Baby Phillips Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction on March 31, 2012 at 5:30pm. The event will be held at Take-A-Break located at 408 West Baseline Rd Lafayette CO, 80026, For more information contact D’Ona Phillips at 303.564.6688.
